Steele Saunders is a Melbourne-based stand-up comedian and podcaster. Being a regular on TV, radio & the Australian stand up circuit along with his life long love and deep knowledge of all things Star Wars makes him a great ambassador for Star Wars fandom and all that comes with it!
Through his deep, deep love of Star Wars, Steele finds people of interest to talk to him about it on his podcast 'Steele Wars.' From co-hosting nationally televised morning TV, to live podcasting while camping out for a Star Wars panel at San Diego Comic Con, Steele is always up to chat Star Wars in a unique way that’s often hilarious & always informative for all levels of fan!
His other podcast- the wildly popular 'I Love Green Guide Letters,' is a comedic review of the letters to The Melbourne Age’s Thursday Green Guide Television & Radio lift-out… at least that’s what it’s meant to be. It was recently named in the Apple iTunes 'Best of 2015' podcast list and has been taken on the road in Australia and overseas to wide acclaim.
Steele is also known for his affectionate relationship with his cat, a five-year-old Persian named Jerry; named after Jerry Seinfeld. Steele has set up a Twitter account for Jerry, which you can find at @JerryThePersian.
