Sree Sreenivasan has been Chief Digital Officer of NYC since Oct 2016. He runs the Mayor’s Office of Digital Strategy and works with City agencies and colleagues throughout the five boroughs. He also works with startups and tech companies to help them thrive in the world’s greatest city.
Before coming to City Hall, Sree spent three years as Chief Digital Officer of The Met. He also worked for 21 years at Columbia University, teaching digital media at Columbia Journalism School and a year as the university’s first CDO. In 2015, Sree was named to Fast Company’s list of the 100 most creative people in business and in 2009 to Ad Age’s list of 25 people to follow on Twitter.
