Tian Chen

Director of Product, Al Jazeera Media Network

New York City

Tian Chen is the director of product for Al Jazeera Media Network, focused on research and development. He previously headed up the Al Jazeera America products and innovations group, responsible for all end-points outside of broadcast, which included apps for mobile, tablet and connected devices. He was previously with HBO, where he focused on strategic investments for digital workflows and TV Everywhere/OTT build-out. Prior to this, Tian held a number of roles with Grab Networks and Anystream, focused on digital media production and distribution. He has worked directly with clients, including Disney/ABC, NBCUniversal, Sony, Warner Bros., and Turner.
