Simone is a co-founder of Clever Boxer. Until November 2014, she was head of Guardian Masterclasses, a standalone business within the wider organisation. She grew the business dramatically in a little over two years, expanding into Australia and corporate training markets. As a consultant and trainer she has worked on new business launches with Frieze and The Idler, and events programmes with Soho House Group, co-living space The Collective, and the high-end retail trade-show, Top Drawer. She has been a journalist for 20 years and was previously Features Editor of Time Out, the London arts and entertainment magazine. She is also the founder of Trashed, the online and in-print publication for disadvantaged young creative Londoners, and she has been running workshops since 2002.
