    Sima Saadat is a marketing and operations leader with over 10 years of experience in the tech industry. She currently serves as the Singapore Country Manager and Director of International Marketing at General Assembly, where she oversees all operations in Singapore, ensuring the successful execution of high-impact education and training programs in partnership with the Singapore government and local organizations. In this role, she drives program management, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence while leading innovative and cost-effective marketing strategies to enhance GA’s brand, lead generation, and enrollments.

    Beyond Singapore, Sima plays a key role in building GA’s brand presence across international markets, including Australia, Japan, Bahrain, and the UK. She is passionate about developing marketing strategies, executing go-to-market campaigns, fostering relationships, and hosting impactful events.

    Before moving to Singapore, Sima worked in Silicon Valley at an edtech company, where she helped grow brand awareness and customer engagement through digital marketing, events, email campaigns, social media, project management, and sales support. Prior to that, she worked at various adtech startups in San Francisco as a Marketing Manager, gaining hands-on experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

    Sima is excited about using her marketing expertise—along with her passion for education and sustainability—to create networks that foster collaboration and drive meaningful change. She enjoys discussing the latest industry trends, particularly in education, sustainability, and mental health. Outside of work, she is a (relatively) new mom and always happy to share her experiences.
