Sidney Minassian is the Founder & CEO of Contexti - a premier Big Data Analytics company.

The Contexti Analytics Platform powered by Hadoop & Spark is delivered 'as-a-Service' and is complemented by a range of services in Data Strategy, Analytics and Decision Science, enabling customers to become data-driven faster.

Over the past three years Contexti has worked with over 40 customers in the Asia Pacific region including Quantium, EFTPOS, Telstra, Billabong, Seven West Media, Suncorp, Westpac, Caltex and Federal Government.

Contexti has key go-to-market partnerships with Cisco & Telstra and has jointly launched a Big Data Centre of Excellence in Sydney.

Prior to Contexti, Sidney was based in Silicon Valley where was the Founder and CEO of Liaise, a collaboration technology that automatically captures intelligence from unstructured email content. Liaise, was launched at the prestigious DEMO event, won the People’s Choice Award and was named in Gartner’s Cool Vendor listing.

Prior to Liaise, Sidney was the Founder and CEO of Think Software, providing workflow, collaboration and decision-making software for enterprise customers in Financial Services, Professional Services, Telecommunications and Government.

Prior to his technology entrepreneurial ventures, Sidney was a consultant with KPMG, leading strategy, project and change management programs for the Financial Services industry and prior to that he was a Senior Risk Management Officer with Mizuho Bank.
