Shruti Challa runs new business at Rocket Travel which was recently acquired by the Priceline Group. Think of "New Business" as the start-up within a start-up. She runs all aspects of the business but her passion is in discovering unique ways to unlock distribution and bring a new product to market. Shruti is new to Chicago, spending most of her career in San Francisco. Shruti graduated from Stanford University and is currently doing an Executive Masters in Predictive Analytics at Northwestern on the side. Career highlights include working at the well-known venture capital firm Founders Fund, being part of a core team that was acquired by Groupon pre-IPO, and speaking about entrepreneurship across India and Sri Lanka on behalf of the US State Department.
