San Francisco
As a lead interaction designer, Shivanjali prides herself in her ability to uncover and solve creative problems from multiple cultural perspectives. Her flexibility to work across digital and physical platforms stems from her fluency with a wide range of tools that she’s constantly adding to. Currently she is fascinated with interactive narratives using tangible mediums.
Shivanjali finished her masters in Interaction Design from Umeå Institute of Design, Sweden. Prior to this, she worked as an industrial designer at LG’s design studio in New Delhi and Seoul and as a product design intern at IDEO’s Bay Area studios and BMW DesignworksUSA in Singapore.
She has a strong urge to understand and define elements around her using math; you will often find her analyzing complex design problems using geometry and vectors. Her one constant source of embarrassment is her inability to cook ‘authentic’ Indian food, but she hasn’t given up on that yet.
