Combining her belief in service excellence, customer-centricity and appreciation for lifelong learning, Shinn Teo takes an active role in championing hospitality education today through EHL Hospitality Business School. Based out of EHL Campus (Singapore), Shinn currently holds the position of Graduate Programs Recruitment Manager, responsible for positioning EHL as a lifelong learning partner through identifying positive synergies with industry partners and promoting the university’s graduate programs, online certifications and short executive courses within the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to assuming her current role, Shinn oversaw EHL’s Undergraduate Recruitment function where she developed the Asia-Pacific team in supporting young adults to navigate their educational pathways alongside their hospitality career aspirations. Before EHL, she had kickstarted her career in the functions of Learning & Development and Talent Management & Development with the then-Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts.
Shinn is deeply passionate about creating nurturing team cultures and encouraging personal & professional growth through coaching. She also plays a part in educating herself and her network on the topics of Corporate Social Responsibility, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Emotional Wellness. At leisure, she enjoys exploring Singapore and uncovering the hidden stories of culture, heritage, and residents, as well as supporting volunteer and fringe events related to the power of local culture and support for migrant workers who have built her home country.
Shinn is a graduate of the EHL Hospitality Business School’s Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management program, from the Class of 2013.
