Shilpa is an Experienced product manager with 8+ years of digital product background, currently working on Payments at Braintree, PayPal. She has proven success stories of launching world-class software products with meaningful outcomes across multiple industries. She is passionate about Data, Machine Learning, and Business Model Innovation.
Shilpa's prior experience spans a range of technological products and services across Infosys Consulting, YuMe, Vibes, Cigna, Illinois Ventures and Groupon. Her greatest expertise lies in bringing product strategy and creativity to emerging new technologies that often defy categorical definition.
Prior to joining Braintree-PayPal, Shilpa led the product portfolio for Groupon International managing the entire customer purchase funnel along with Merchant facing programs. She also spearheaded many exciting CX initiatives for their Booking marketplace product.
Outside of her work at Braintree, she is an Advisor to Whai Technologies, one of the upcoming AI startups in the Chicago tech community backed by angel investors from LinkedIn and 1871.
Shilpa holds an MBA in Marketing, Strategy, and Analytics from the University of Illinois and a Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering from Biju Patnaik University, India.
