    Shi-Hua Teh is Deputy Head (Tech), Smart Nation Programme Office at the Prime Minister’s Office. She works with partner agencies to coordinate and develop Smart Nation architecture and standards to support interoperability and data sharing, as well as to develop technology roadmaps for key Smart Nation initiatives.

    Prior to joining the Smart Nation Programme Office, she worked in the Defence and Science Technology Agency, which provides technological solutions to the Singapore Armed Forces. She started out as a software developer, before moving on to lead project teams engaged in designing and developing command and control systems. For two years, she was also a part-time investment manager at Cap Vista Pte Ltd (the venture capital arm for the Ministry of Defence).

    Shi-Hua graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California-Berkeley, and a Master’s degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University in 2006.
