Shep Maher serves as Senior Vice President of Sales for GuideSpark. Shep is responsible for revenue development and retention at GuideSpark, and for building the business as GuideSpark defines the new market of workplace communications. Shep also serves on GuideSpark’s executive leadership team, helping to shape a world-class team and culture.
With more than 15 years of experience in sales and sales leadership, Shep has a history of building collaborative and winning teams with great culture. With Shep’s guidance and support, GuideSpark has grown to more than 650 customers, including 20 percent of the Fortune 500. His teams work closely with clients to deliver the solutions they need as they transition from paper to a new media approach in workplace communications.
Prior to joining GuideSpark in 2012, Shep held sales leadership roles at Thomson Reuters, where he was responsible for revenue growth, margin improvement, and cross-selling across Thomson Reuters’ Corporate business in the Americas. In addition, he helped to launch new products and new geographies for Thomson Reuters. Earlier in his career, Shep held sales and sales leadership roles at NewRiver Inc., Merrill Corporation, Corporate Communications Broadcast Network (CCBN), and SNL Financial.
Shep holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia, where he was an Echols Scholar.
