Shayak Banerjee is the Engineering Lead on the Machine Learning team at Meetup. He has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas - Austin and spent several years in the hardware industry, including co-founding his own wearable tech company. For the past few years he has been working on the Machine Learning challenges of delivering personalization at low-latency on the Meetup platform.
