    Shanisha Dixon -Tyrell

Financial Coach & Author, Shanisha's Changing Lives

    New York City

Brooklyn, New York native Shanisha Dixon-Tyrell was inspired by her upbringing to one day become a business owner. Shanisha is the first of her six siblings to complete higher education. She studied Communication and Business at the State University of New York at Albany and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree. In 2012 Shanisha started her post college career as a Labor Service Representative for the New York State Department of Labor. It was during her employment with the New York State Department of Labor that she learned working for someone else would not allow her to truly fulfill her life's purpose: Educating families (including her own) on the importance of financial literacy. In August 2013, Shanisha started her pursuit of entrepreneurship while maintaining her full-time job. She knew that with a

strong financial education background she could add value to members of her community. In August 2016, Shanisha fired her boss to become a full-time entrepreneur and has been on a full pursuit of helping families through financial literacy.
