Dr. Shane McWhorter is a Miami-born UX-driven executive, psychologist, physicist, and educator. Over his 30+ year career. Dr. McWhorter has served many organizations across many industries as their UX champion. While faculty at Georgia Tech and adjunct faculty at several universities, he educated and mentored the current and next generation of UX scientists, engineers and designers. Dr. McWhorter served on the founding Board of Directors of UX STRAT, the User Experience Strategy conference, and currently serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of UXPA International, the User Experience Professionals Association. UXPA International has been supporting UX professionals for almost 30 years: supporting local chapters in 30 countries, hosting the annual UXPA International Conference and publishing the Journal of Usability Studies and the User Experience Magazine.
