Having worked as an Architect in technology companies in Silicon Valley, she has deep knowledge of current technology trends and industry standards. She has also been helping many organizations transform from waterfall to agile methodologies. This has given her a unique perspective dealing with many real problems and their solves. So she brings in a unique combination of skills with a deep understanding of technology and process.

She is a true champion of agile methodologies and brings to table a passion for its adoption across different spheres of development cycles. She is an out-of-box thinker with creative ideas to improve the current processes to make them better and re-invigorate them. She has championed an Agile COP and meetups encouraging everyone to think and share. She uses her experience with start-ups to create a VC funding culture at the enterprise level to encourage innovation and collaboration.

Shami has a passion for advocacy, having supported several non-profits in a pro bono capacity, including GetMagic (Helping girls in STEM), OSAAT (Helping build schools in rural areas) and Nisum-o-sity.
