Previously, Shafique started out in the early 2000s as a web developer before transitioning into being a UX/UI designer in 2015. His career by then had spanned multiple projects and collaborations with brands like Nike, Singtel, Jaguar and Land Rover Motors. But he needed to explore more creative outlets and felt it was time for a career switch. At the time, Shafique was mostly self-taught and educated himself with books and other online resources. Then in 2019, Shafique decided to formalise his training at General Assembly Singapore. Shafique enrolled in the full-time User Experience Design Immersive course, which was equally eye-opening and very informative. Since graduation, he has worked with several startups at a consultant level. Currently, Shafique works at PropertyGuru as a UI designer.
