Serena is a multi Emmy-nominated and James Beard Award-winning producer, director, and interviewer. Currently senior creative producer at MasterClass, she is responsible for the vision and execution of the education company's long-form classes with pastry chef Dominique Ansel and pitmaster Aaron Franklin, as well as a third, non-culinary, still-very-secret production in post.
A former food writer and senior producer for Larry King Now, Serena's passions surround the ties that bind: the chemistry of potent banter, the connective power of stories well told, the kinship created over a good meal. Her work is devoted to exploring the human condition in all its nuanced, flawed wonder.
Raised in Montreal, Vancouver, and Chicago, Serena has two passports, a degree in Journalism from Northwestern University, and zero sense of direction. She will nearly never say no to Mexico or a dance floor.
