Sarah Wood is a TEDx speaker, writer, and meditation teacher, with a day job as the Head of Growth & Community at Upstream. She is the founder of Joy Soldier™, a community and toolkit to help people lead a more joyful life. Sarah facilitates workshops around resiliency in the workplace, completed a 10-day silent meditation retreat, and is a Young Professionals Board member of the National Alliance of Mental Illness. As a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business, Sarah’s work in compassion began as a fellow in the Michigan Ross Center for Positive Organizations, a consortium of scholars and business leaders that use organizational science to design thriving organizations for a better world.
