Sara is the Director of Learning & Development at HomeAdvisor reporting to the SVP of Talent Acquisition & Management. Sara oversees new hire onboarding for all departments and is currently building a training curriculum for tenured employees to help sharpen and develop both hard and soft skills. She is also developing a performance management framework to help develop and retain top talent within the organization. Her background is almost entirely in Product Management with 3+ years as Director of Product at HomeAdvisor, 8+ years as Senior Director of Product at insuranceQuotes, and a year as the Director of Category Expansion at Bluprint (formerly known as Craftsy). Despite a rewarding and fulfilling career in Product, Sara recognized the need for a Learning & Development program at HomeAdvisor and was determined to carve out and fill a non-existent role in the organization. Armed with passion, motivation, and steadfast determination, Sara is now leading the charge to create positive organizational change which rewards and recognizes top performers and helps level-up those in need of additional professional support. She is genuinely grateful for the opportunity to spread her wings and transition into a new and exciting chapter in her career.
