    Sara Saperstein is a Lead Data Scientist at MassMutual where she develops and deploys industry-leading machine learning models that accurately estimate the risk of mortality and longevity in order to help people secure their future and protect the ones they love. Previously she was a data science team lead at Pixability, a leading provider of software and insights to optimize video advertising on major social media platforms, where she built an audience recommender tool and a campaign optimization product. She holds a master's degree in computational neuroscience from Boston University and her dissertation work involved predicting ADHD diagnosis in children using graph theoretic network features derived from brain images. She organizes the Boston Data Science Meetup group with multiple monthly events to bring together the community of practicing data scientists in the greater Boston area.
