Sara Mengesha is an Assistant Director at Sofar Sounds Los Angeles, a global network of artists and music lovers hosting intimate experiences in over 350 cities. After attending her first Sofar in 2014, Sara was blown away by the music discovery at Sofar shows & it's global reach. Soon joining the team, Sara worked to expand the the LA community allowing the city to host its 100th, 200th, and 300th shows last year.
Outside of Sofar gigs, Sara enjoys discovering all kinds of experiences and connecting with communities. Sara attended UCLA and earned a BA in History & Public Policy. Prior to her joining Sofar, she worked at a Think Tank and local youth startup focusing on entrepreneurship & the arts.
