London
As a designer in UX, I like to define my profession as an attitude that brings the best out of technology, making it useful for people. Currently I work at Google, focusing on improving the wellbeing of Android users. Prior to that, I specialized in design for healthcare. I led the design of multiple digital products and platforms, touching millions of users.
Design can be many things. For me it's about being the enabler, the disruptor, and the advocate. The core of my day to day is empowering different products, systems and stakeholders, to work better together - all in favour of the user.
My career path took me from small to big startups, agencies like IDEO, institutions like public hospitals, and big organisations like Google - all tackling different means of prioritizing and impacting the user. Having had the privilege of building my foundations at the Aalto University in Helsinki (and the Royal College of Art in London), a school that shaped design by being tightly integrated with their society, I always like to mentor prospective designers entering the world of tech.
