Sara Haas, PhD is a senior psychometrician at Alva Labs, and is responsible for optimizing & further developing Alva’s recruitment tests using state of the art Item-Response Theory (IRT) techniques.
Prior to joining Alva Labs, Sara spent 14 years in academia, receiving her education and conducting research at some of the worlds’ leading institutions in computational psychology and psychometric theory including: Carnegie Mellon, Brown University, University of Maryland, and Uppsala University.
Sara has published seven articles in top-tiered journals on information processing across the lifespan, and has completed a prestigious pre-doctoral fellowship at the United States National Institute of Mental Health.
