Sara Frisk joined Salesforce in 2015 to combine her background in human centered design with the power of data, inspired by the opportunity for greater impact. It's here she found her people—a nimble and multi-disciplinary powerhouse called Ignite, an internal team deemed by Forbes as "Salesforce’s secret weapon."
Sara's background is in Design Thinking, Experience Design, Communication Design and Brand Strategy. Prior to Salesforce she spent 9 years at IDEO, building the communication design discipline from the ground up, then guiding a portfolio of work across digital and physical environments focused on integrated and delightful customer experiences. She believes that an interactive, intuitive and lovable brand is the key to customer success and loyalty.
She served as president of AIGA Chicago, the Chief Creative Officer of a predictive analytics startup, a brand strategist for celebrities, and is currently honored to serve on the AIGA National Board of Directors. Sara is a straight shooter, believes in serendipitous connections, and strives to help the people around her succeed. She believes that good business is about telling people what they need to hear, rather than what they want to hear. And that everything—everything—can be made better through design.
