Santina Croniser (she/her) is a senior accessibility engineer at VMware where she promotes accessibility awareness and assists in creating accessible products. Santina has worked in the field for over 10 years, engaging with and advising a variety of sectors: not-for-profit, higher education, and a myriad of corporations: from start-ups to FAANG. As an accessibility specialist, she trained organizations to incorporate accessibility into agile workflows, provided code remediation, and audited client products.
She is IAAP WAS certified, and is passionate about the intersectionality of disability and diversity. Despite living in San Francisco, she is a co-organizer for Chicago’s Digital Accessibility and Inclusive Design meetup, one of the largest community accessibility organizations worldwide. Outside of work, you can find Santina traveling (pre-pandemic), hiking, or working on a project (that’s likely to involve woodworking or welding).
