Sandy has been in the industrial products and services industry for more than 35 years. Her career in industrial products and services started in an upward trajectory after being denied the opportunity to become part of the sales team in the male dominated industrial marketplace. She made her own path by working for various companies that manufactured or distributed valves, pipe, fittings, pumps, etc. She finally achieved a sales manager position in a vertical pump manufacturing company. The goal was always to make a better income plus the flexibility of time to raise her two daughters as a single parent.

In 1994, Sandy founded Hunter Hawk Inc which specializes in Custom/Specialty Manufacturing via Reverse Engineering, Products & Services for 24/7 industries including Energy, Oil-Refining/Production, Bio-Pharmaceuticals, Mining, Utilities, Municipals, and Military. Her many years working in the industrial manufacturing arena helped her develop a solid understanding of the mechanical needs and challenges her customers face on a continual basis. She is an avid problem solver and her industrial customers have come to rely on her experience, collaborative nature and innovative equipment reliability and maintenance solutions. Sandy is passionate about what she does and she does it extremely well, especially when supporting girls and women wanting to be independent by pursuing non-traditional careers. The opportunity to expand Hunter Hawk’s business through WBENC and WBEC Pacific, often using the products and services of fellow women business owners, has been enormously satisfying. Educational programs offered through WBENC have given Sandy world-class business educational experiences, support and feedback from Wharton School of Business, Dartmouth/Tuck School and recently the Energy Executive Program.
