Samantha Schwartz is a firm believer that creating connections and fostering relationships is the key to positive, lasting, growth and change. One of her driving missions at TechNexus is to make the ecosystem of the space more vibrant and collaborative though pouring into the community development with programming and opportunities for connection. She also works on building relationships and sharing the story of TechNexus to aid in cultivating a sustainable culture of awareness and support in the Chicago tech scene. While on a larger scale, establishing TechNexus as a hub for the tech and start-up community by hosting engaging events and meet-ups that are inclusive and intentional. Fuel for Samantha's passions are her involvement in working to help her church, VIVE, form its new location in Chicago, being a clinical supervisor with The Cities Mentor Project - a mentoring program that helps teach youth skills and therapy centered on coping with stress and trauma stemming their neighborhood environments, and working to help grow Fontenelle Art - a company that aims to serve communities by providing Art & Movement–based therapy to build mental health awareness.
