Samantha is a Venture Architect Director at BCG Digital Ventures, to which she brings a decade of experience in digital health. Most recently she served as General Manager of Oshi, a digital health start-up launched in June 2018 aiming to revolutionize the management and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. She led a team of 30 product managers, designers, engineers, and business strategists and had responsibility for overall venture success, including commercialization strategy, clinical/regulatory strategy, product-market fit, partnerships, hiring, and operations.
Previously, Sam was Digital Health Lead at Continuum, a global design and innovation consultancy, where she advised a broad set of healthcare clients and served as a business development and thought leader. She also spent over five years at Medtronic Diabetes, leading product planning and development for its mobile technology and glucose sensor pipelines and managing branding and commercialization strategies for its next-gen insulin delivery portfolio.
Sam holds a BS in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management, and a Master of Engineering Management in Design from the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science at Northwestern University.
