Samantha Garrick has worked for Best Buddies International for 3 years. Currently, she is the Program Supervisor of the Jobs program in Los Angeles and Orange County, working directly with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) on finding their dream job, and employers on their Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. Samantha and the Best Buddies Jobs Team work to improve companies' corporate cultures via D&I trainings, employee engagement opportunities, and cost effective hiring solutions. She has a strong passion for creating a more inclusive world for people with IDD, and relishes the opportunity to play a role in improving the lives of Best Buddies' Jobs participants.
Outside of Best Buddies, Samantha was awarded the Presidential Service Award by President Obama two years in a row for 100+ hours/year of community service, she graduated from Skidmore College with a degree in Cultural Anthropology, and is a serial hot sauce consumer.
