Lane came to UX design from a background in Psychology and Education, bringing a curiosity for human behavior and bundles of empathy. During her time as a teacher she developed a passion for utilizing technology to improve the experience of others.
Lane chose the path of UX as she enjoy the mental stimulus offered by a rapidly changing tech space alongside the opportunity to understand the needs of users. Driven by a desire to change systems to fit these needs, she believes in humanizing technology and creating pleasant design solutions that users can trust.
Apart from UX, Lane loves to travel. Highlights include adopting a stray kitten from Vietnam, off-road biking in Laos and trekking volcanos in Indonesia. In quieter times she likes to make playlists, play board games and listen to podcasts.
