Sam is a Marketing Manager at Nando’s PERi-PERi, the South-African-Portuguese restaurant known worldwide for its spicy flame-grilled chicken. Sam oversees brand activations and is responsible for strategizing and executing events and experiences to help raise awareness, drive sales and increase loyalty among guests.
Prior to Nando’s, Sam was with &pizza, where he helped grow the company from five locations to more than two dozen pizza shops, supporting brand strategy, marketing and guest experience. Sam started his career with Kraft Foods, where he served as a brand ambassador and spokesperson for the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. Yes, he really drove the Wienermobile.
Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland and resides in Washington, DC.
