Sacha Francois Heppell is a digital marketing expert with a focus on patient-centered innovation. He is Chief Marketing Officer at SmartTab, a medtech startup developing novel ingestible drug delivery systems. Sacha is accountable for growth marketing and business development strategies. He started his career at Manhattan Center Studios in New York City, where he co-founded his first marketing agency. With over 10 years experience leading cross functional teams for wellness and technology companies, his vision has helped propel SmartTab since its inception. He is committed to bring pharmaceutical delivery systems to the 21st century, leading the company to achieve TechCrunch Biotech Top Pick 2020 and Colorado Companies to Watch 2021 awards.
Sacha leads patient and physician focus groups intended to connect SmartTab’s R&D team to the needs of the end users. He produces an award-winning digital health innovation podcast “Who Would Have Thought”, exploring the future of digital health with life science leaders. In 2012, he was interviewed on national television by Don Lemon at CNN to speak about his unapologetic stand for youth going after their dreams in spite of racial and gender barriers. In his spare time, Sacha is civically engaged as the Chairman of the Brest, France committee at Denver Sister Cities International helping to promote business and cultural exchange between France and the Rocky Mountain region.
