The Director of Data Engineering at Fair, Ryan has extensive engineering experience at financial technology and ground transportation startups, and also worked in energy trading, where he aided in the design of new derivatives and managed commodities portfolios. Ryan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chicago and has conducted research for notable economists, including a Nobel Laureate. While at Fair, he is pursuing a master’s degree in computer science at Georgia Tech, focusing on artificial intelligence.
