Having over 14 years of professional design & online marketing experience Russell is a highly creative person with vast knowledge from print, web, photography, social media and technology. Having worked for numerous international brands such as Walt Disney, Sega, Samsung, Sony and many more has given him a great understanding of brand management, creative processes and a keen eye for business.
Originally from London, Russell moved to Australia in 2009 with only $200 in his pocket and knowing one person. Not being able to find any design work he fell into the bar industry allowing him to build a large network of friends and meeting business owners. Pulling away from the bar industry he co-founded Yellow Octopus, a Gifts, Gadgets & Toys website which has been running for just over a year outgrowing their previous office space. Russell's desire to be a successful entrepreneur allows him to find and act upon opportunities as well as helping others.
