Ruby is the Account Manager for OLIO’s Food Heroes Programme. OLIO is a free app that connects neighbours with each other, and volunteers with local businesses, so surplus food and other items can be shared, not thrown away.

Before working at OLIO, Ruby volunteered as a Food Hero herself, regularly collecting surplus food from local businesses and sharing it with her local community via the app.

Since joining as an Account Manager in September 2018, the OLIO team has doubled in size and all colleagues are ‘mission obsessed’ in ending food waste and building millions of hyper local food sharing networks across the world.
