Rubaiyyaat Aakbar is an IT professional with 17 years of diversified experience in information security governance, application security development lifecycle, business-focused security assessment and information risk management, 3rd party security risk management, IT project management and innovative employee awareness program design. He has spent 10 years in HSBC and then over 2 years with a silicon valley based healthcare start-up before joining DocDoc. Currently, he is driving the cybersecurity and privacy compliance program with DocDoc covering operations across multiple countries in Asia. Rubai holds professional certifications like CISSP, PMP, ITIL Expert, CIPP/A, and ISMS. Rubaiyyaat has worked on implementing industry standards such as OWASP SDLC, ISO27001, HITRUST, HIPAA, PCI DSS.
