Roshan graduated from the 2nd data science immersive course at General Assembly Sydney. With a Bachelors and Masters in Engineering and 6 years of software engineering experience, she was intrigued by the growing data science community and applications. This led her to expand her career to data science and it was aided by the various projects and modules during the General assembly course.

As a Data Consultant at Servian, she got the opportunity to work with companies in various industries such as Telecom, Financial and Retail. She enables clients reach out to the right target group for marketing, extracts valuable insights by understanding their needs and requirements, analyses and wrangles data for better reporting capabilities.

When asked about one of the best takeaways from the data science journey, she says: "80% of the time is spent on cleaning the data - During the data science program at GA, the guest lecturers always mentioned this as a key takeaway for data scientists. I realised the importance with every project. The more effort you spend on data cleaning, the easier it gets in the later phase of the project
