Romy Serfaty is a regional marketing & communications senior executive with over 20 years of experience in Asia Pacific both as an in-house expert as well as a consultant and account director for private corporations, governments and IGOs.
As the Head of Regional Campaigns in APAC MEA for Aon Hewitt, the Human Resources, Retirement and Health business of AON Plc., Romy has led the marketing strategy, design and implementation of global programs at region and country level, such as the Aon Best Employers® study conducted annually in 14 countries in Asia Pacific and the Middle East, the Total Compensation Measurement™ surveys, and the Top Companies for Leaders. Her responsibilities include marketing and digital communications, branding, media relations, partnerships and government outreach, as well as the conceiving, editing and disseminating of thought leadership in the shape of research papers and case studies.
Prior to joining Aon Hewitt in 2012, Romy was Head of Marketing with Towers Watson in Hong Kong for 9 years, heading the marketing strategy across Talent & Rewards, Employee Benefits and Investment Consulting practices. She also held various positions as Director of Communications in private and public corporations, as well as in media (television) and runs her own consulting business in APAC advising startups and investors.
A native of Morocco, Romy is multi-lingual (French, English, Spanish and North-African Arabic) and has extensive understanding of multicultural environments. She is a frequent speaker in the conference circuit in Asia on matters related to Marketing, Communications and Talent Engagement. She holds a Masters’ degree in Political Sciences and a Post Graduate degree in International Communications from the University of Paris – La Sorbonne.
