Ritija Gupta is a nationally-renowned storyteller and performer whose stories have appeared on NPR, and who has toured with the Peabody-award winning storytelling organization, the Moth. She has performed at the famed Apollo Theater in Harlem, the Avalon Theater in LA, and the Lincoln Theater in DC among many others. Her work has also appeared at the Second City in Chicago, as well as on Upworthy and the Risk! podcast, which receives over 2 million downloads a month. Most recently, she has been awarded multiple fellowships and grants from institutions such as the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities for her artistic contributions, and has expanded her work into print, with a recent feature in Slate.
In 2018, after nearly two decades as a strategy and innovation consultant where she was most recently a Vice President of Client Solutions at digital healthcare company Babyscripts, she started performing and working as a communications consultant full time. In the past year, she's coached nearly 100 people from American Express, CNN, Google, Refinery29, the WWE, various private equity and asset management firms, and startups.
Ms. Gupta received her MBA from Columbia Business School, her MPP from Georgetown University, and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago.
