A former derivatives trader at HSBC in London, Richie walked away from the finance world to start a data mining technology business. At the same time he enrolled for a part-time MSc in Software Engineering at University of Oxford, from which he recently graduated.

Now in its 5th year, AltViz has several innovative enterprise technology products that use natural language processing, machine learning and narrow AI algorithms to solve hard problems for global organisations, such as eBay.

AltViz is VC backed and has a team of 15 with offices in Cork and London.
