Richard is a visionary and veteran of the real-time communications industry having introduced the first media server hosting service, Influxis, and most recently spearheading WebRTC infrastructure services as CEO and CoFounder of Xirsys. Richard’s inspiration comes from the idea of a "live connected world" where distance is no longer a barrier for immersive human interaction. Over the years, his technology has been utilized by top companies including Google, Microsoft, Cisco, Disney, Proctor & Gamble, Yamaha and hundreds more. While currently running both Xirsys and Influxis simultaneously, he passionately enjoys design, architecture, skateboards and finely made cocktails.
