Renee is the Co-founder and CEO of DonationMatch, a digital platform that streamlines corporate community engagement through event-based donations and giveback that has facilitated over $34 million in goods to 15,000 organizations since 2010.
Renee's entrepreneurial career started as a fitness center franchisee in 2000, soon after which she was recruited as a business mentor to support new openings, helping Curves become the largest fitness franchise in the world. While seeking ways for her businesses to get involved with the community, she discovered the joys of charitable fundraising events. Volunteering and chairing silent auctions enlightened her to the frustrations of both companies and recipient organizations when seeking partnerships, and DonationMatch was born.
Renee holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from UCSD, is a graduate of the Founder Institute accelerator program, and believes in win-win collaboration as a tool for success in both business and life.
