Renee Reid is a Sr. UX Design Researcher at LinkedIn with over 15 years of professional experience in various industries & roles including Project Management, Customer Experience and User Experience.

While a UX Researcher at CareerBuilder in Atlanta, GA, Renee was the program director for the company's Girls in Tech High School Summer Internship program, a guest lecturer at Georgia Tech’s highly acclaimed MS-HCI program and was the founder and president of the Atlanta Chapter of User Experience Professionals Association (UXPA).

Currently at LinkedIn, Renee is the campus lead for LinkedIn’s SouthBay Black Inclusion Group (B.I.G).as part of the company's Employee Relation Groups (ERGs). She has successfully mentored and lead 2 intern teams for the “Interns for a Cause” non profit campaigns representing the Boys and Girls Club of The Peninsula and Rise Against Hunger. Renee is also a Professional Mentor with TechWomen, an Initiative of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, providing access and opportunity to Emerging Leaders (ELs) in Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East. In addition, she is a registered Everwise mentor, an online platform that provides career development and mentorship to women. Renee is passionate about given back and helping others and continues to mentor high school & college students as well as individuals just starting out in the UX industry
