Renan Borelli is currently a Senior Editor for Digital Storytelling at the New York Times, where he is part of a team responsible for editorial strategy, skills training, and digital innovation across the newsroom. Prior to the Times, Renan was the Senior Director of Audience Development for MTV News, where he oversaw the brand's multiplatform growth and engagement efforts and managed the audience development team.
Renan began his career working at digital agencies, advising some of the world's best media companies on social strategy and audience engagement, including HBO, Disney, Sony Pictures, Amazon Studios, Syfy, Freeform, and Summit Entertainment. He also writes about film, TV, and culture and co-hosts a podcast about cult movies called Enter The Void.
