Remco is a Startup Accountant, virtual CFO, VC and entrepreneurial educator.
As a CPA and seasoned CFO/COO he has worked with entrepreneurial technology/cleantech businesses for the last 10 years, preceded by 4 years in venture capital and by 10 years working with multinational management consulting/IT services companies.
Passionate about growing successful sustainable businesses, Remco is interested in startups that disrupt the status quo, digital health and bitcoin’s potential in facilitating international payments.
Remco has founded Standard Ledger, along with law firm General Standards to provide the only accounting+legal firm/s dedicated to startups. He is currently the virtual CFO for a number of startup and grownup businesses, and General Partner with the Future Capital Bitcoin Fund.
As well as teaching at GA, Remco is an Adjunct Lecturer at Adelaide University Entrepreneurship Centre, Swinburne University and mentors for the global startup accelerator Founders Institute, and the School for Social Entrepreneurs.
