Rebecca Garcia is a Product Manager at Syndio, a startup focused on helping end the gender pay gap. Previously she was a Program Manager at Microsoft and a Developer at Squarespace.
She has been named one of the 'Top Women Under 35 Changing the Tech Industry' by Glamour Magazine, As well as a 'Champion of Change for Tech Inclusion' by former President Barack Obama. She was also an entrepreneurship fellow focused on social impact at Columbia University.
She's most known for co-founding a 501(c)3 non-profit teaching kids to code and her STEM education advocacy. She has been a co-host / 'Hackmaster' of TechCrunch Disrupt and hosts a weekly podcast 'A Life Well Hacked.'
Rebecca has appeared in NYTimes, Forbes, The Rolling Stone, and PCMagazine. Partnerships have included HP, Capital One and Dice.com. She's a dog mom in Brooklyn, NYC, often found doing yoga, barre, and meditation.
