As the Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations for Engineering, Rebecca is responsible for building out a new operational function for the Engineering (550+ admin) organization. During her tenure, she successfully ran the FY 2020 Annual Operations Planning (budget, strategy, and headcount) for the entire Engineering organization and rolled out OKR usage and scoring to100% of all Engineering teams. Her mission in this role is to create and lead strategic, transformational efforts that enable our leaders - both management and admin - to be empowered, to promote inclusiveness and diversity, and to fearlessly craft Etsy's suite of products.
Rebecca graduated with Honors from Northwestern University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy, specializing in Learning and Organizational Change. She hails from Dallas, TX but currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her partner, her bike and her many plant babies.
