Priyal is the Product Manager at Avertro, an early-stage cybersecurity startup (B2B SaaS). The CyberHQ platform by Avertro helps companies manage, measure and report on their cybersecurity performance and level up their cyber game. As a part of her role, Priyal manages the Product Strategy and Design processes as well as collaborates with the wider team to achieve product development, growth and go-to-market priorities.

After almost a decade of working with two of the Big 4 consulting firms, Priyal gained a strong understanding of current and emerging cybersecurity problems faced by clients. She then decided to use her expertise to solve some of these key issues in an innovative manner. Avertro has given her the best platform to hone and merge her creative, tech and business skillsets.

Priyal's career path has not been a traditional one for a product manager. She has worked in finance, accounting, audit, risk and consulting prior to her current role. She recently received a special recognition award at the Australian Women in Security Awards 2021. Therefore, her goal is to help people realise that it is never too late to follow your passion!
