Prasana is the regional marketing manager for Asia at HubSpot, a software company that builds Inbound marketing, sales, and customer service software that helps millions of businesses grow. Prior to working for some of the fastest-growing tech companies in the region like Fave, Getresponse and Ematic Solutions, her passion for tech began in university where she frequented tech talks, boot camps, and Startup founder events to gain exposure and build networks.
Her first foray into the tech world was as a copywriter, and from there she moved into customer relationship marketing, growth hacking, and project managed the communications of a major acquisition and mobile app relaunch. In the last 4 years, her focus has been on regional marketing across Asia which has exposed her to tech adoption in countries like Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand and how a marketer in a non-tech role can still create impact when it comes to the product roadmap and the blueprint of a businesses go-to-market strategy.
